Ideal for portrait photography, fashion photography, clothing photography and extra large product photography and interior room shots. Used with large photo light tents or standalone in the studio or on location, these versatile digital studio flash lighting sets are easy to adjust and provide plenty of flexibility for additional external lighting control and creative effects by adding umbrellas, softboxes, barndoors and colour gels (accessory details).

Compact yet powerful, the FM180P is ideally suited to photographing people, clothing and furniture in the studio as well as interior room shots on location.

FM180 Studio Flash compact monolight unit 180 w/s GN 44 metres / 144 feet.

Easy digital menu control adjustment from 1/16 to full power and proportional adjustment of modelling light output. Flash unit accepts a photographic umbrella and connects to supplied UK mains power lead (or European Schuko mains power lead) via standard IEC 220V-240V 50Hz/60Hz connector. Integral slide umbrella mount underneath, slave optical sensor and pc-sync connection jack on rear of unit.

Compact and lightweight for excellent portability being ideal for interior location work.

FM180P Digital Studio Flash Lighting Set

The two self-contained, compact monolight units in the FM180P Digital Studio Flash Lighting Set produce a short, high output 1/1000s burst of up to 180w/s power with easy digital menu control adjustment from 1/16 to full in 0.1f stop steps (guide number 44 metres) providing enough power to light larger areas, isolate products and freeze action of models where required.

With features such as overheat protection circuitry, switchable 'flash-ready' buzzer signal, user replaceable plug-in flash tube and 'self-learning' preflash suppression circuitry these are sophisticated as well as compact units.

Easy and accurate adjustment of height and angle allow ideal positioning from 840mm (33") minimum to 2040mm (80") maximum height and the tripod light stands fold down for compact storage and portability.

With integral umbrella slide mounts and a small 9.5cm diameter compact body ready to accept suitable softboxes, snoots, barndoors and colour gels (available separately), there's plenty of flexibility to add external lighting control.

Triggerable by integral slave optical sensor from other flash units or infra red, PC-sync wire or wireless radio flash trigger systems. (Wireless is the ideal method and transmitter/receiver systems are available at extra cost. Accessory details).

UK and European 220V-240V 50Hz/60Hz specification

As standard, the flash units are supplied with detachable 5 metre (16ft) power leads with UK mains plugs and connect to the units via standard IEC earthed three pin connectors. The flash units have integral fuses.

For UK customers we supply flashes with UK 3 pin plug with 5 metre lead and IEC connector For European customers we supply flashes with Schuko Euro plug with 5 metre lead and IEC connector For customers in Switzerland we supply flashes with Swiss 3 pin plug with 5 metre lead and IEC connector

For European countries such as France, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Portugal the flash units are supplied with detachable 5 metre power leads with earthed Schuko Euro plugs. For customers in Switzerland the flash units are supplied with detachable 5 metre power leads with earthed 3 pin Swiss plugs.

For other countries using 220V-240V 50Hz/60Hz mains power supply, the supplied power lead may be replaced with a suitable locally sourced, IEC ended, earthed 3-pin lead if required. (please ask for details). IEC ended, earthed power leads are the same type of lead used for the vast majority of personal computers.

WTS1 Wireless Flash Trigger System (one transmitter + one receiver + adapter) Provides an easy, reliable way to trigger a remote off-camera studio flash unit by means of an encoded wireless radio signal. This means it is no longer necessary to fire the camera's built in flash, permitting more creative lighting control and avoiding red-eye. The transmitter simply slides onto a standard hot shoe flash mounting on the camera (or pc-sync cable attachment) while the receiver plugs straight into the pc-sync connection jack in the studio flash head. Where more than one flash unit needs to be triggered, the additional flash units can be triggered from the first flash using their built-in optical photo-electric sensors. Tested to be reliable to over 10 metres range and can work through most walls and other obstructions where required. Low power consumption to ensure compatibility with modern digital cameras. Transmitter test button ensures correct triggering and allows exposure metering. Supplied complete with batteries. Uses 2 x 1.5v AAA batteries in receiver and 1 x 12v A23 battery in transmitter.
