80cm Photo Light Tent Cube
Our 80cm (32") Light Tent Cube is made from photographic grade light diffusing white nylon fabric. Its superior colour-neutral textured finish offers significantly more light diffusion than standard nylon grades. It is supplied with a detachable front door cover incorporating a slit for your camera lens, particularly useful when photographing highly reflective objects such as silver and glass. Four background cloths are included and are positioned within the tent by Velcro fasteners.
Additional 80cm Light Tent Features
In addition to the 4 included backgrounds, the NEW 80cm specification includes 2 removable fixing clips to conveniently hang your own art paper or lightweight fabric backgrounds for maximum flexibility and creative control.
As well as positioning items on the background cloths, built-in hanging loops in the roof of the Light Tent can be used to suspend lightweight items such as jewellery, wind chimes, mobiles, pet toys and clothing.
Triple Bulb 5000k Daylight Fluorescent Lighting
The high output Triple Bulb Fluorescent Lighting allows easy and accurate adjustment of height and angle with an even spread of light from the deep dished 300mm (12") aluminium reflectors. Adjustable from 840mm (33") minimum to 2040mm (80") maximum height, the light stands fold down for compact storage and portability.
Daylight fluorescent 5000k bulbs produce a cooler, whiter light (see example) than normal incandescent hot bulbs for better colour reproduction and easier isolation of your item and are especially suited to digital cameras. They are also more energy efficient, one 50w fluorescent bulb producing the equivalent amount of light to a normal 200w incandescent bulb so the 150w in each photographic floodlight unit is equivalent to 600w of normal incandescent bulb. The E27 standard screw bulb sockets will accept other bulb types up to max 100w. We offer spare 50w (200w equivalent) daylight fluorescent bulbs in the accessories section.
* Triple bulb design for increased light output
ideal for larger light tents *
* For easy light control under varied conditions,
each bulb is individually switchable on/off *
* Deep dished reflector encloses complete bulb length
for better forward beam projection *
Versatile and Customisable
With each bulb individually switchable on/off, flexible light control is available when used either standalone in the studio or when combined with the 80cm (32") photo light tent.
The deep dished reflector design encloses the full bulb length to ensure that the maximum amount of light is projected forward onto your subject rather than escaping wastefully sideways.
Diffusion Options
Removable slip-over diffusion covers provide a simple diffusion mechanism when photographing very large glass, metal and ceramic surfaces of items too large for a light tent. Alternatively, the metal lighting head will accept a photographic umbrella (available separately) through a slot in the reflector.
UK and European 220V-240V 50Hz/60Hz specification
As standard, the lighting units are supplied with detachable 5 metre (16ft) power leads with UK mains plugs and connect to the lighting units via standard IEC earthed three pin connectors. The lighting units have integral fuses.

For European countries such as France, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Portugal the lighting units are supplied with detachable 5 metre power leads with earthed Schuko Euro plugs.
For other countries using 220V-240V 50Hz/60Hz mains power supply, the supplied power lead may be replaced with a suitable locally sourced, IEC ended, earthed 3-pin lead if required. (please ask for details). IEC ended, earthed power leads are the same type of lead used for the vast majority of personal computers.
