200cm (79") Studio Cube Tent
Our 200cm (79") Studio Shooting Cube is made from photographic grade light diffusing white nylon fabric (non-yellowing). Its superior colour-neutral textured velvet flocked finish offers significantly more light diffusion than standard nylon grades.
The studio cube uses an aluminium tubular frame section and joint construction to provide an extra large portable studio space and the largest possible opening width for portrait work while still being easily assembled and transported in the supplied carry bag.
It is supplied with a detachable front door cover incorporating a double zippered vertical slit for your camera lens, particularly useful when photographing highly reflective objects such as TV screens, stainless steel and glass furniture. A reversible blue/grey background cloth to cover the back and floor of the Studio Cube is included and positioned by Velcro fasteners. This provides a choice of non-reflective 'infinity backdrop' colours for your subjects as well as the whited-out space obtained with the included white background.
Your own choice of alternative paper or fabric backgrounds can be attached via an integrated backdrop alumimium cross tube and 3 supplied backdrop clamps.
FM180T Digital Studio Flash Lighting Set
The three self-contained, compact monolight units in the FM180T Digital Studio Flash Lighting Set produce a short, high output 1/1000s burst of up to 180w/s power with easy digital menu control adjustment from 1/16 to full in 0.1f stop steps (guide number 44 metres) providing plenty of power to light evenly throughout the 200cm studio cube to isolate products and freeze action of models where required.
With features such as overheat protection circuitry, switchable 'flash-ready' buzzer signal, user replaceable plug-in flash tube and 'self-learning' preflash suppression circuitry these are sophisticated as well as compact units.
Easy and accurate adjustment of height and angle allow ideal positioning around the studio cube from 840mm (33") minimum to 2040mm (80") maximum height and the tripod light stands fold down for compact storage and portability. With integral umbrella slide mounts for the supplied silver inner/black outer reflector umbrellas, the light source size is increased for optimum diffusion when using close to the cube. The flash units will also accept suitable softboxes, snoots, barndoors and colour gels (available separately) for more general studio use.
Triggerable by integral slave optical sensor from other flash units or infra red, PC-sync wire or the included wireless radio flash trigger system (wireless is the ideal method).

WTS1 Wireless Flash Trigger System
Provide an easy, reliable way to trigger a remote off-camera studio flash unit by means of an encoded wireless radio signal. The transmitter simply slides onto a standard hot shoe flash mounting on the camera while the receiver plugs straight into the pc-sync connection jack in the first studio flash head. The additional flash units are then triggered from the first flash using their built-in optical photo-electric sensors.
Flash units then fire in sync with the camera without any need for cables. Tested to be reliable to over 10 metres range and can work through most walls and other obstructions where required. Low power consumption to ensure compatibility with modern digital cameras. Transmitter test button ensures correct triggering and allows exposure metering.
This package includes one wireless WTS Tx trigger transmitter for the camera (hot-shoe mount or pc-sync cable attachment) and one wireless WTSR Rx trigger receiver for the first studio flash unit. Receiver connection adapter included to suit other sized jack connections on alternative flash monolights and both receiver and transmitter come complete with batteries, ready to go. We offer spare batteries where required.
- Effective range: 10+ metres/32+ feet
- Shutter Sync Speed: Up to 1/1000s
- Encoded digital signal
- Auto sleep/shutoff mode for transmitter
- Test button on transmitter
- On/Off button and signal indicator light on receiver
(The Fuji FinePix S7000 Digital camera shown is not included and is shown purely for hot shoe mounting information only)
UK and European 220V-240V 50Hz/60Hz specification
As standard, the flash units are supplied with detachable 5 metre (16ft) power leads with UK mains plugs and connect to the units via standard IEC earthed three pin connectors. The flash units have integral fuses.

For European countries such as France, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Portugal the flash units are supplied with detachable 5 metre power leads with earthed Schuko Euro plugs. For customers in Switzerland the flash units are supplied with detachable 5 metre power leads with earthed 3 pin Swiss plugs.
For other countries using 220V-240V 50Hz/60Hz mains power supply, the supplied power lead may be replaced with a suitable locally sourced, IEC ended, earthed 3-pin lead if required. (please ask for details). IEC ended, earthed power leads are the same type of lead used for the vast majority of personal computers. |
