Ideal for still-life photography, catalogue, collectables and product photography especially when the subject is more difficult to move. Enables you to create your own portable, suspended lighting studio. Our Light Tent's special photographic nylon fabric diffuses the external light source, softening shadows and reducing glare, making it ideal for photographing shiny or reflective objects and offering greater creative control when working with still-life compositions.

Cylindrical Light Tent

Our 100cm (39") diameter Cylindrical Light Tent is made from photographic grade light diffusing white nylon fabric. Its superior colour-neutral textured finish offers significantly more light diffusion than standard nylon grades.

Unlike our self-supporting light tent cubes, the cylindrical light tent has no floor allowing it to be placed over fixed objects such as plants, sculpture and furniture. It is designed to be hung from a ceiling, beam or boom arm stand by it's fabric top hanging loop.

It incorporates a double zippered door slit for your camera lens, particularly useful when photographing highly reflective objects such as silver, stainless steel and glass. The cylinder walls provide a white 'infinity backdrop' for your objects. A spring wire supporting frame sewn into the Light Tent fabric allows the tent to be folded flat within its carrying bag for easy tent storage.

For best results use daylight balanced fluorescent lighting. These offer a cooler, whiter light than normal incandescent lamps and are more energy efficient.
